Kulinna Sirikulthada—Plant Futurist Feature

Meet Kulinna Sirikulthada, a passionate Food and Nutrition student at New York University hailing from Bangkok, Thailand.

Embracing a vision for a vibrant, sustainable future, Kulinna's journey into Plant Futures at NYU reflects her belief in the power of connection among plant-centric individuals, fostering hope and promise for a greener tomorrow.

What led you to want to become a part of Plant Futures?

I've found connecting with other plant-centric people fills me with hope and promise. I wanted to become a part of Plant Futures to keep in touch with the next few generations at NYU, who I believe are going to be pushing boundaries and experiencing the greenest, most climate-concerned administration and student body to exist so far!

What does the future food system of your dreams look like?

Colorful! I want to see natural colors everywhere on plates. I believe the way we're going to get to the future of food is by learning from indigenous knowledge systems and the often systematically silenced voices of overlooked thinkers.

What is your favorite plant-based food or meal?

Recently, I have been most impressed by the new plant-based yoghurt options available!

As she continues to pave the way for a more colorful, conscious food landscape, Kulinna invites us all to savor the possibilities of a vibrant, plant-based tomorrow and join her in reshaping our relationship with food for generations to come.
