Caroline Bushnell, Leonardo Aquino & Johnny Ream

Caroline is the Vice President of Corporate Engagement at The Good Food Institute, a nonprofit organization developing the roadmap for a sustainable, secure, and just protein supply. Caroline advises some of the world’s largest food manufacturers, meat producers, and retailers, along with startups and investors, on opportunities in the rapidly evolving alternative protein industry. Previously, Caroline served as the Director of Marketing for Celestial Seasonings at The Hain Celestial Group. She has also worked at Moet Hennessy USA and Janus Capital Group. Caroline is a graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder and currently serves as a governor-appointed member of the Colorado Food Systems Advisory Council.


Leonardo Aquino is the Head of R&D for Unilever Foods & Refreshment in North America. He is focused on making sustainable living commonplace and transforming the Food system at scale through technology and boldly healthier innovations behind big brands. He brought to market post-consumer recycled bottles and jars for Hellmann's® and Talenti ® as well as various non-dairy Ben & Jerry’s® and Breyers® flavors.


Johnny Ream is an accomplished investor with over 15 years of experience in strategy and venture capital. He is currently a Partner at Stray Dog Capital, an impact-focused venture capital fund that invests across the food value chain and its surrounding ecosystem to support companies that are helping to drive a healthier and more sustainable food system. At Stray Dog Capital, Johnny leads thesis development, new investment opportunities, and works with Founders on strategic initiatives. Johnny graduated with a BA from MidAmerica Nazarene University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
