Plant Futures is looking for a talented intern to assist the Marketing and Communications team to create original content and play an active role in boosting the nonprofit organization’s presence across social channels. A strong background in content creation, videography, photography and media communications is strongly preferred.
Location: Hybrid – Remote & Los Angeles (Primarily remote, with periodic on-site content creation days in the South Bay, LA)
Time Frame: Start effective immediately through August, with opportunity for extension based on performance and organization needs.

Job Description: Plant Futures is looking for a talented intern to assist the Marketing and Communications team to create original content and play an active role in boosting the nonprofit organization’s presence across social channels. A strong background in content creation, videography, photography and media communications is strongly preferred. Interns will work closely under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager on a variety of projects intended to increase engagement and share valuable tools with our community. Such projects include piloting a new lifestyle campaign sharing climate- and college-student friendly recipes, among many others. Through this experience you will gain valuable experience creating content and assisting in the development and management of an organization’s various social media platforms.
